Lisa Kunst, Corporate Communications

How are you?

Thank you, good.

What did you want to be when you grew up?

What’s your biggest luxury?

Time for myself.

What’s your favorite music?

Soul & Funk.

What’s your favorite vacation spot?

The world is full of beautiful places …

The best place on earth?

Siwa, the smallest oasis in Egypt. I was there only once when I was ten years old, but I am still quite enchanted – an oasis just like out of a book.

What do you love spending money on?

Books and magazines, travel, food, children’s clothes

What talent would you like to have?

Snapping with my left fingers….for some reason it only works with my right ones.

In retrospect, I would not again …

Non, je ne regrette rien…

It drives me crazy, …

… when people make fun of my parking skills. I know that this is not my forte …

What’s your favorite pastime?

Reading, looking at photos, cooking, doing nothing.

What are your favorite bookmarks?

Always the ones at the beginning of the book. Then the best is yet to come.

What’s your most prized possession?

Material: a ring, whose history is very valuable to me. My great-great aunt got if from her husband, a French porcelain dealer. For years it was passed on in my family. Now I’m holding it for my daughter.

My most valuable asset: my family, health and love.

Who’s your favorite action hero?

Pippi Longstocking – she is so clear head.

What do you value most in your friends?

That they are there, regardless the distance or years we’ve been out of contact.

What’s your main character trait?

Three apps you don’t want to be without…

facebook, whats app, cross process

I forget time…

… while reading and internet surfing.

Who wants to be successful in advertising has to…

… have passion.

I celebrate my successes…

… lively.

At age 18 I wanted …

…study theater in Berlin.

At age 60…

… I will live in Provence and study life.

Money makes me…

… easy-going.

I seek advice…

… from my loved ones and on the internet. But I also think encyclopedias are quite nostalgic.

I tell kids….

I recently read in one of those Childhood Education and Guidance books that any advice you offer kids might be harmful as well. OK, this answers sounds funnier in German: “Ratschläge sind auch Schläge. Uiuiui”

Berlin or New York?

I’ll take them both. And Paris too.

What’s your favorite campaign?

For individual campaigns the answer is not easy but I think Lucky Strike and VW constantly create great communication pieces.

Which campaigns dont’ you like?

Seitenbacher. And unfortunately a very, very large amount of radio advertising gets me all wound up.

What campaign of yours are you most proud of?

The best is yet to come…

What was the most embarrassing moment of your advertising career?

The moment took place at a class reunion and is only semi-embarrassing. My former teacher asked me what I do for a living and I replied that I was working in the advertising industry. He responded horrified: “Lisa, why? You have such nice parents!”

Famous last words?

Love Is All Around.
